Oleic acid is used as a lubricant in the metallurgical, textile and petroleum industries.
In agrochemical and chemical industries, oleic acids are used as an additive to improve the characteristics of some products. Although in a smaller proportion, the cosmetic industry uses them for a wide range of applications, such as maintaining the humidity of shaving cream, improving detergency in shampoos, among others.
